This pendant is inspired by a historic piece that dates back to the Byzantine Empire. The original tassel held tiny paisley filigrees. Here the choice of the large semi-precious rice-shaped bead dictates the choice of the tiny beads that terminate the tassel and run the length of the chain, to intersperse color throughout the piece.
